What a beautiful day 1/1/08 was.  Missouri put in what I would call a typical performance to cap the season.  It looked tough for awhile, but in the end it just wasn't really ever close.  Tony Temple...what can I possibly say about him that hasn't already been said?  Gonna miss you, Tony.  I remember quite distinctly the moment you chose Mizzou as your destination, as I was sitting on the floor of my apartment with cell phone in hand, BEEF and The Boy on the line with me since they couldn't get a feed of it anywhere.  Pure jubilation when you put that Mizzou cap on instead of Kansas State.  That was a turning point in Missouri's football program, and I know we all hoped for that but weren't really sure if it would be true.

It was true.
