It wasn't all smiles and jokes in the post-game locker room. Daniel made sure to deliver one message about the Huskers.

"Nebraska was one of the dirtiest teams I've played," he said. "It's football, so you've got to be ready for that, you've got to be ready for late hits and you've just got to go out there and play."

The Huskers were flagged for a personal foul on a helmet to helmet hit against Daniel and drew 14 flags for 101 yards overall.

"It's a rival game, they're out there competing," Maclin said. "But they did some stuff afterwards maybe, or some stuff under the pile, that I wouldn't necessarily agree with."

Christopher, who picked up the Tigers' only penalty on an unsportsmanlike conduct call late in the game, added the final comment:

"It's not too dirty when you're smoking them," he said. "They don't have a whole lot to say."

I had no idea there were college blogs on here, I thought it was just pro football and baseball. This is awesome! Anyway, awesome win today, I live kicking the shiznit out of a Big 12 rival, and Daniel for Heisman, M-I-Z Z-O-U and such…

I’m more of a pro football fan than I am college (my sig, 3-1, is for the Denver Broncos, whose site is my homepage,) and I mostly root for the players instead of the teams, since I know quite a few of them, but Mizzou is definately my favorite team and always has been, and it is my second choice of where I want to go to school.

I guess I don’t really have a point with this comment. I was just looking for an excuse to join, that’s all, and hopefully learn a whole lot more about the Tigers and college football itself.

I don't run it...

The guy who does is an Ohio State fan, and we’ve got a couple of chickenhawk fans too. The rest are Buffaloes fans, and I think I’m the only Tiger fan, so I have to keep my yap shut over there. But you’re right, it is a helluva time to be a Mizzou fan.

what’s up guys…found these post game comments very interesting…I wouldn’t have expected Nebraska to be like this but I don’t doubt that a Bo Pelini led team might be a bit dirty. I only caught the first half but there were definetly some hits in there on Daniel and others that were a bit much. Those types of things tend to effect you less when your throwing a 5 Touchdown beatdown on a team. Can’t say I was cheering for you guys but I didn’t expect you would lose…Quite the league we’ve got going in the Big 12 and it pains me to say this but I am pretty confident you guys will be representing the Big12 North and I am looking forward to that game between MU and OU…although I’m still hoping we can squeek it out =)

Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.

For all I can say about the MHR community, this is the first one that can come close to rivaling it. Well, the second, the Cubs one has a pretty good following as well, but you and The Boy have definately done an awesome job with it.
