Mizzou Game Notes

• Next to Probable Offensive Starters, it says NOTE - No wagering, please - we're just guessing here.  That's hilarious and I don't even know why.
• Mizzou holds the all-time series lead on the rest of our opponents this year except for Texas, who holds a 15-5 lead on us.
• Our only loss to OSU in Big XII play came in 2004, and I think we all remember what a glorious game that was.
• The only game against OSU in Big XII play that was decided by more than 7 points was our win in Columbia in 2000, 24-10.  In our last 7 meetings (all Big XII games) there have been 6 OT periods.
• This game features the top 2 scorers in the nation:  #1 Derrick Washington at 14.4ppg, #2 Dez Bryant at 13.2ppg.  Those numbers would be pretty good in basketball...in football they're just unreal.
• We are the least penalized team in the country at just 3 per game.
• We rank 6th in fewest turnovers with 5, 3 of which of course game in a single game while 2 came in the other.  Quick math tells me we've played 3 games so far this year turnover free.  See how I did that?
• Missouri is still just 1 2-minute drive behind Tulsa for the lead in that category.  The Tigers have 17 drives of 2 minutes or less for TDs this year.  More than 3 per game.
• A win over OSU will give Missouri just its 5th 6-0 start in school history, the last coming in 2006 when we started out 6-0 and finished 8-5.  Man that team feels like a distant memory.
• Finally, Chase Daniel still has led the first team offense to exactly 0 3-and-outs so far this season.
