For chaos' sake. Other than crossing your fingers for long-shot upsets by Florida State, Auburn or Baylor, any scenario under which Missouri wins the Big 12 championship throws the whole system into disarray. No matter the exact permutations -- whether the Tigers beat Oklahoma or Texas Tech -- voters would be left to decide between a pair of one-loss teams (Texas and Texas Tech), neither of which won its conference championship, and USC, which has a weaker schedule and might not win its conference championship, either, depending on what happens to Oregon State. I mean, does Penn State creep back into that picture? Or, heaven forbid, computer fave Utah? There is no fair way to resolve that scenario.
So whatever happens over the next two weeks, remember: There's always Chase Daniel, maker of mischief, waiting on Dec. 6 to burn this whole thing to the ground.

Oh...I'd take the chaos in a heartbeat :-)
I know The Boy is a little more in the corner of the BCS, but just for sh!ts and giggles, I would be all about the national hand-wringing this would cause.

Perfect revenge on the stupid BCS after the BS of last year
Hopefully we go into the Big 12 Champ game loose and ready to have fun instead of being worried about needing to win. Combine some trick plays and we just might be able to win.
Your 2008 Missouri Tigers! #12 9-2 (5-2). Next up kU at Arrowhead. BIG 12 NORTH CHAMPS!

For what the BCS is supposed to do...
…the BCS works just fine. The only thing the BCS cannot do is figure out how to put three teams on the same field—that is its flaw.
But I’m all for whatever chaos ensues to finally secure a 4- or 8-team playoff.

I'm all for it.
In order of who I’d like to see in the Big XII title game, it would be Texas Tech, then Oklahoma (struggling without Ryan Reynolds, and having to move Nic Harris up to LB), then Texas. I still think UT is the most dominant team out there, so better to just bury them.
Oh, and you know who else is in favor of this calamity?

I'm all for chaos.
You have to like the fact that no matter who Mizzou plays, there will be an abundance of pressure on that team to perform (espeically if it is Texas Tech…they will be in the same situation as Mizzou was last year in this game). Mizzou will have some pressure too, after all, a BCS birth is still at stake…but overall, our boys should go into that game playing with nothing to lose what-so-ever. I just hope plenty of Tiger fans are gobbling up tickets for the game.
I’m not sure Mizzou wins, but I expect the game to be pretty close this time around.
In regard to the BCS system…the last two years have been crazy to say the least.
