What’s so wrong with the Gold unis? Let’s change it up a little bit. I kind of like it. I’d like it more if they went with the gold tops and white pants, ala Georgia Tech or UCF.

I am just not confident with our current unis

that we can pull it off effectively. Both in design and color. I still think it is kind of funny that the gold in our helmets is no where close to the gold on our unis

I just don't find it appealing.

I don’t have a problem with gold unis from the historical perspective. It’s not like a school that has no black in their color scheme doing a “black-out” (Oregon, anyone?). We are Black and Gold, and we have worn all-gold in the past.

It’s just that aesthetically, I think it would look horrible. Every other football application of all-yellow or all-gold uniforms I have seen in the last 10+ years has looked bad, so I have no reason to expect ours to buck the trend. I do like the mustard hoops unis, but different things work in basketball than in football. I also believe that a single color uniform looks unprofessional – I feel that way about the all-white and the all-black, but I can live with that, because the colors are pretty set-in-stone. White is white, black is black, but there are about 50 different shades of yellow/gold you could go with.

I juggle one handed, do some magic tricks and do the best imitation of myself.

if the players REALLY wanted it, I wouldn’t complain too loudly, and if we won in them, I would learn to like them.

Finally...

I’ve long said this and people often look at me like I’m crazy. It’s like Mizzou can’t figure out which color of Gold it wants to be…real gold, or the gold that is actually just a fancy yellow.

That said, I always prefer the ‘gold’ pants with the home or away uniform. Not a fan of the all white or the all black (actually, when they came out wearing the all black unis in the Big 12 Title game last year I was instantly worried. Man I love sports.)
