NCAA selection show should be tomorrow at 11am
Mizzou should be looking at a good seed and perhaps a home draw for the first two rounds, as they took down two (higher) ranked opponents in the tourney and SHOULD be in the top 16…or a top 4 seed.

Outstanding news
and a bright future as well. Only 4 seniors played big minutes this year, Dittamore the keeper comes back, 87% of the goals and 74% of the assists return as well.

yeah...the amount of bench Blitz uses I believe
helps the team both in recruiting and in building talent toward the future. The freshmen played a LOT of minutes this year and that will help down the road. However, replacing much of the defense next season will be priority #1 and Dittamore will be big in keeping us in matches next season until the new back three rounds into form.

can someone explain the substitution rules?
I watch alot of soccer, and the NCAA rule differences baffle me. A few things I’ve noticed, but don’t quite understand: subbing in and out seems to be at the will of the coach…in regular soccer, you get 3 subs per game, and once the players are taken off, they’re done for the day. I’ve watched a few college games, and haven’t seen any yellow or red cards…do those not exist in the college game? The clock counts down from 45:00 instead of up towards it, and it doesn’t appear to have any allowance for stoppage or injury time. Any idea why?
from the NCAA site
3.5.1 Field Players. With reference to periods of play, substitutions are
permitted as follows:
First half: no re-entry. (meaning you can come out and are done for the half)
Second half: one re-entry. (meaning you can come out and come back in, but only once)
First overtime period: no re-entry.
Second overtime period: no re-entry.
It appears substituting on the whole is unlimited.
