No Monday Musings today...
I don't think it is any secret I do most of the Musings in whatever free time I have on Sundays. However, after a lengthy trip to MN and getting back Sunday night, there just is not enough time, especially given what I walked into at work this morning. Therefore, the Monday Musings will be pushed back a day, and I will still cover the FOUR dual meets (all wins by the way) Mizzou had in wrestling on Saturday. Until then...congrats to DC on his new position and I will see you all tomorrow.

HEY....You Guys Owe us a Peace Pipe!
Linkage 2 go about 1/2 way down the page
I think you guys owe us a pipe….sure, sure OU was the last to be seen with it, but facts like that’s never stopped me from blaming others.
Anyway…great season, and congrats on winning the North, (from and Oklahoma fan)
Thought Clint Hurdle should be fired before it was cool.
yeah I was not even sure if we still swapped that or not
I can say I have actually SEEN it (since we had it when we won back in 1997)…but never really heard of it since then…glad to know you were the last seen with it though :-)
Best of luck this weekend…not that I am too certain you will need it the way you guys are firing right now

Actually
if you saw it 1997…that is the last it’s been seen. The last official was after the 1973 football game that I know of.
Thought Clint Hurdle should be fired before it was cool.
I "believe" I saw it in 1997...I know the groups planned to
exchange it then and I knew people in the Mizzou society which was charged with keeping it… Now, I suppose the OU people could have provided something else and I saw that briefly the evening after we won, but I did think it was the actual peace pipe.

cool stuff.
That’s what the college experience is about. The world has turned so much that we can’t even have Delta type of Animal Houses anymore :-). Too much PC and whatever to let young men and women earn about things that will benefit them later in life, develop long lasting friendships, honor and carry on traditions. I believe in long held traditions and hope this one can come back.
