Mizzou opens as 14.5-point dogs
Bettors wasted no time letting Vegas know what they thought of the opening line, as it's since been pushed into the 16.5-17.0 range pretty rapidly.
So, if I set the line at 16.5, what do you think?
Too high? Too low? Just right?

i’d put it in the 24-27 range honestly.

For a line, I think that is about right.
Since Mizzou is such an explosive team and OU has disappeared on defense at times this year. I wish just for one game (besides Colorado, I guess) this defense would play like the championship caliber defense it was supposed to be.
I’m just afraid this game could cause people to think “oh, they’re still just Missouri” By people I mean me.

I expect a similar final score to many of OU's recent games
They score 60 and win by 14-20. That’s what happened in the Kansas and Ok State games.
I think it is a hair too high
Since I see OU playing to the final bell (not that I dont see us doing the same), but I see a junk TD with little time left by OU to make a final statement about their position in the BCS Champ game.

That seems about right
With the game being in Arrowhead in the cold, I could see it being around a 10 point game. Then again, you guys coming off that loss probably pushed it to two touchdowns.

Mizzou holds OU under 30?
Not a chance, especially after witnessing the Chickenhawks score almost at will in Saturday’s game. The defense looked lethargic at times against Kansas (although I do give a ton of credit to KU offense for generating plays out of nothing), and we all know OU has an offense that puts Lawrence to shame. They’ve scored 60 points in four straight ballgames, which probably is a school record, at least since the Switzer era.
I think Mizzou at 14.5 underdogs is generous for the Tigers, honestly. But I’m anticpating the game to be close…or I’m blithely hoping against hope. If Mizzou’s defense decides to play four quarters of football, puts pressure on Bradford (which they didn’t do often on Reesing – c’mon, a guy can’t throw from his back), capitlizes on OU mistakes (if there are any, they play sound football), and executes on offense the way Missouri football has shown it can, I believe they could actually pull it out. BUT, that’s all a tall order.

I am thinking the OU score in the mid-30's and MU 28
The only the game gets to the higher scores is if a warm front comes in and the RB’s go wild. I lived in KC for 10 years, hated the weather(every minute of the cold crappy winter). Passing CFB teams have a difficult time staying in a rhythm and maintaining that rhythm. Without the rhythm the score will be way down compared to the last 3 OU games. If the game was indoors, that’s another story.
Look at the weather from this past week...
it WILL NOT be worse than that this coming week and the teams combined for almost 80 points. This weekend, the weather is looking clear and probably about as warm as it was last weekend. If the field recovers (the edges were ROUGH by the end of the game), I do not see why either team (but especially OU at this point) wont put up 40+
