Driveline Mechanics on Kyle Gibson
I was bored one night and requested this analysis. It's an interesting take, given that I've read nothing but glowing reports about Gibson heading into his senior year.

I saw that yesterday too
and I found it interesting that they pointed out how much they hated Crow’s mechanics too. I wonder if it’s a coaching thing? It wouldn’t necessarily mean that we’re putting pitchers through the meat grinder out of incompetence, as many coaches teach similar mechanics(as pointed out in the article), and with DM and Saber-Scouting you’ll notice it’s a bit easier to say “I don’t like this, this, this, and this” and come away with a more negative impression of a player(or more specifically their mechanics) than is truly accurate.
I apparently love commas and parentheses.

Scherzer's mechanics aren't all that great either
He puts far too much stress on his elbow, which has led to some problems.
Although, he does have one SICK changeup.

The guy at DM doesn’t do performance-based evaluation. Gibson and Crow are both excellent pitchers—he just only evaluated mechanics and possible red flags for down the road.
