Every player scored
Forced 18 turnovers in the first half (almost more TO’s than points)
Demarre and Leo each played under 20 minutes
Leo had a bad first half, but picked it up in the 2nd
Good to see Thunder Matt go on a little run
Good to see Denmon finally hit another 3
Golden Lions have a player whose last name is Ootesey (rhymes with Bootsy)
Good chance to get some “quality” minutes for Bowers, Moore, even Sutton.
Coach was asked about Mike Jr’s “layup/alley-oop pass” at the end – his response was priceless – “He’s lucky that his mother is my wife.”
Cal will be a great test for these guys. Demarre really wants a piece of those guys after getting hurt out there last year.
