PrintIt didn't unfold quite the way I would have liked, but...your Missouri Tigers have won 30 games in three seasons, and all your favorite seniors--Chase Daniel, Chase Coffman, William Moore, Tommy Saunders, Stryker Sulak, Ziggy Hood, Brock Christopher, Jeff Wolfert--and probably Jeremy Maclin (and maybe Sean Weatherspoon) go out as back-to-back bowl champions. In the end, that's what goes in the record books.
And we will wrap this season up the only we know how:

since we don’t exactly win a lot of Bowl Games. Have they always called the bowl winners the “champions” of that bowl?

Like panjandrum said, you did the Big 12 proud. Only next time, could you add a little excitement to the ending?
I'm finding it funny how many times...
Fitzgerald, Bacher, etc. mention that we were a tough opponent because we were Big 12 North champs.
‘’There were things we didn’t execute,‘’ Fitz said. ’’To win a game against the Big 12 North champions, you have to execute. Obviously, there are some plays we’d like to have back. But there were some incredible plays by our guys, too.’’
‘’Our goal this entire season was to win a bowl game and we weren’t able to finish the job,‘’ said quarterback C.J. Bacher. ’’They’re a very good team. They’re the Big 12 North champs. We knew we were pretty good, too. We proved we can play with them, but we’re disappointed. They made more plays than we did. That’s why they’re Alamo Bowl champions and we’re not.’’
I’m amused at this, because winning the North meant we were the fifth-best team in the Big 12 this year.
