Tuberville out as Auburn HC
Wow, that's 2 coaches gone from the SEC this season. One had a NC 10 years ago, the other SHOULD have had one 5 years ago.
If that's what is required to be considered the best football conference in America, I'm glad I'm a Big 12 fan.

I hope he follows the Reverend Nutt template...
…and goes to Mississippi State and beats Auburn next year.
Honestly, this is probably the right move—the alternative was apparently them forcing him to make a bunch of coaching changes he didn’t want to make (which rarely works…cough cough Bill Cubit cough), them predictably doing no better (possibly worse) in ‘09 and making a change anyway. This year, at least Tuberville’s reputation as a good coach is still somewhat intact (though I have no idea why he hired Tony Franklin if he wasn’t going to run the Franklin offense).

Thrust nunchuk upward!
How long until...
… we see a T’Board rumor saying that Tuberville could be our new defensive coordinator if we get rid of Eberflus?
