Live Updates: NCAA Mideast Regional Track

That's right...am going to try my first live update here in the old diary section.  Mizzou has sent a number of athletes, espcecially in the throwing events.  I will do my best to keep this spot up to date today and a little tomorrow...here is the schedule for today after the jump, along with the Mizzou athletes competing in that event and their national rank.  And you will note there is no decathlon competition, so I assume both Adcock and perhaps Rise are in the NCAA's in a couple of weeks.

Two hours into the day...and no results

I am keeping my eye on what is supposed to be the site to update the results but nothing thus far….

The first Mizzou result is in at the men's high jump

And senior Jason Miller was among six jumpers who did not clear the initial height of 2.06 meters.

Results are in for the women's hammer throw

Mizzou had FOUR athletes throwing in the event (out of 34) and Krishna Lee finished 10th, just outside the points. Her all time best would have actually been good enough for 3rd in the contest, so probably a little disappointing for her.

Elisha Hunt took 19th, Elizabeth Robe finished 21st and Sarah Burbee took 32nd

Men's shot put results are finally in...

And these were really not worth waiting for…

Nate Englin finishes 14th and is the top Tiger of the three competing. His best throw on the season would have landed him in 2nd place. Andy Oaker fouled on all three attempts and while Chris Rohr was listed as competing accoring to MUTigers, he does not appear to have competed.
