Student Tickets

After watching my Sox drop a heartbreaker today (FU, Jim Thome), I had to cheer myself up somehow, so I got to thinking about Mizzou football. Then, I realized that I hadn't got an e-mail about student tickets yet. Did I miss the boat on this one or have they not gone on sale yet? And if they haven't, any idea when they will?

I'm praying I didn't miss the boat on this one.

not sure...

...but after what you did to my Buccos this week, I can’t feel to sorry for you, dropping that one whole game and all. :-)

If only we were facing the Pirates pitching again...

With apologies to The Boy, the Pirates pitching sucks. The Sox had their way with them like R-Kelly had his way with that girl…wait, too soon?

Either way, the Cubs pitching is far better than the Bucs. The Cards should worry about taking care of their own business against Kansas City…

you suck

have you ever written a post or comment that somehow dont relate you the white sox? And I dont care about the pirates losing to the sox, I dont even remember much of the game I was at on thursday. Didnt know til later that Dye had 2 HRs, but you know, I had other things on my mind. As for the R-Kelly joke, that girl was in my brother’s class in High School. by the transitive property, I still dont know her. but come on. and its been like 6 years

well, there's that

but at least we’re taking care of business this weekend against one of the best teams in baseball. it seems like the cubs and cards have an agreement to win and lose every game together.

I still think...

The Cardinals come crashing back to earth come August, but they’ve proven me wrong this far…so why not for the rest of the year?

For the first comment related to the FanPost's subject matter...

I haven’t gotten “The Email” yet. MUTigers says to expect it towards the end of June about what students need to do for their All-Sports Pass (which they’re FINALLY going to just use TigerCards rather than making us pick up tickets).

If we start creeping into July, then we might need to be a bit concerned.

I still have my first season ticket....1995

They gave you one ticket…with 6 little pieces that had to be torn off. Not that it was pre-cut or perforated or anything, just had to be torn, so it was pretty ugly by the end of the season. Face value on the thing I THINK was 80-something bucks…but I could be wrong…was not 100 bucks. Oh how the times have changed :-)

FYI...

Season tickets went on sale yesterday. Tickets to the Illinois, Nebraska, and Texas games will go on sale on July 17, and kU at a later date.

Will be very curious to see/hear the student turn-out

Evidently the Tiger’s Lair (who RockMNation is now an official sponsor of) was able to potentially move to 1,500 seats….and season ticket sales should see us push well past 40,000 according to some other sources….the growth is impressive.

Can you forward me the info?

I think the athletic department has the wrong email for me. That’s yet another official email from them I never got.

You aren't the only one, rpt

Every MU student, check your junk e-mail box on your student webmail. That’s where mine was, and likely, that’s where yours is, too.

Illinois, Nebraska, Texas, kU tickets

Does anyone know what the cost of the tickets to these games are? I’m wondering if they will be the same price as getting them through the Alumni Association. I know the tickets through the Alumni Association in Omaha (sweet name, it’s called “Tigers of the Corn”), cost around $75 a ticket. Thanks.

It may differ by game

Especially because all four are in four different venues. I don’t know if the university will subsidize any of the cost to make the tickets any cheaper for students.

I'm assuming they won't for NU and Texas...

But hopefully, they will for Illinois and kU. I paid a grand total of $25 for tickets to each of those games last year.
