That puts Missouri right in line with Big XII rival Texas, and favored more than West Virginia, Clemson, Auburn, Virginia Tech, Kansas (?), and even the mighty LSU Tigers.

VegasInsider also places the over/under on Mizzou's wins this year at 9.5, which means that everyone loves them some Black 'n Gold.

Other interesting facts:

UNLV is the longest shot in the nation at 1000/1. To put that in comparison, North Carolina (yes, that North Carolina) is running at 150/1.

USC is the favorite at 3/1, with the Fightin' Tebows coming in second at 5/1 and Oklahoma at 6/1.

MIzzou's opening night opponent, the Illinois Fighting Offensive Mascots, are sitting at 40/1, along with Michigan and the ever-popular The Field.

The biggest surprise for me, aside from Kansas (25/1? Seriously? Did anyone in Vegas actually pay attention to them losing, uh, everyone important?), is probably Wisconsin, who comes in at a very sexy 30/1. Now, I'm no Badger expert...but isn't the Big 10 supposed to suck? And isn't Wisconsin essentially Missouri circa 2005 (highly touted underachievers)?
