Hey, does anybody happen to have any inside information on the recruits? I know that richardson is commited to Mizzou, but there were rumors about Bryce Bown being interested in Mizzou? What about Wingo? Anybody else? I've heard very distrubing rumors that Mizzou might be third in recruiting in the Big 12 North :\ I mean I understand that Weatherspoon was a two-star recruit, so I understand that it doesn't matter how many stars we have...but it would help ease this transtition year wouldn't it? Can anybody just give me a brief overview of Mizzou recruiting?

…Richardson is ours. Brown is almost certainly not, though he did visit during the season. Wingo is probably 50/50 between Mizzou and Arkansas. Not sure who’s going to fill out the rest of this class, but Mizzou seems to have addressed needs at LB and DL…not so sure about DB (though they are bringing in two JUCO safeties and a possible stud in StL athlete TJ Moe). But with the large batch of redshirting freshmen in the secondary this year, DB recruiting wasn’t as much of a concern.
Also…Mizzou consistently ranks behind Nebraska and Colorado in the recruiting rankings, and yet beat them by a combined 110-17 this year. Rankings matter…but they really don’t matter.
