I'm at the arena already

watching the women play Chicago State. They got off to a 22-0 start and lead the Cougars 38-17 at the break.

1st half highlight – hearing a CS player shriek in agony as her ACL pops like s water baloon. There are about 400 people here, and her catterwalling echoed for about a minute.

Slightly OT:

Pat Knight invites 12 year old into huddle

Maybe that’s what Mike Anderson should do…go find some kid that can drain free throws all afternoon and embarrass his players

Quick timeout from Ffang

1:08 into the game – not a good sign

settled his troops down a bit, I guess...

…they survived through the first TV timeout anyway…

Goose hit a couple of 3's

couple of nice buckets from Leo – Tigers not finding a ton of room early, but they are forcing turnovers and knocking down some shots.

yeah...

…that next TV segment didn’t go quite as well for The Tooth and his Eagles.

It really is quite the man-crush competition for me between Ramsey and Bowers. That was a terrible alley-oop pass, and he threw it down very easily…

This game is evidence that Mizzou is awesome.

It’s common knowledge that Coppin State is an elite team, and should challenge for the national title. Dominating an opponent of this caliber should vault Mizzou to No. 1.
