I just don't understand all of the USC love all of a sudden

It happens every year after they win their last home game in the Rose Bowl. They beat both tOSU and PSU in LA this year – they must be awesome. Big Ten teams always do well in LA…

I kind of agree...

…granted, Texas struggled against tOSU, but they won. USC always finishes strong and tries to make you forget that they laid a big, fat egg earlier in the season. USC lost on the road to an unranked (on this list) team, while Texas lost on the road to the #11 team. I’d still have UT #3, but…well…in the end it just doesn’t really matter.

Agreed

It just doesn’t matter when the Good Guys in Black (sorry Hawk) aren’t up there. I was surprised at the grass roots movement for Utah, though. They had a seriously strong push in the later bowl days after the Sugar.
