based on...

the way Kansas and Nebraska have played lately I’d probably give you that right now…although it is definitely a week to week thing in the North right now. Hell we could be looking at K-State winning the damn thing.

One thing I hate about this team

is the coverage and return units aren’t even adequate. It’s one thing to compare them to the Maclin teams, but this unit is just bad—and the offense really needs good field position to be effective.

Really no sense bitching at Steckel

When a talented offense has it going, and they have more talent, there’s not much you can do.

We can’t get pressure. When we do they have been able to control it with draws and the screen game. They’re just going to have to get cold. We can’t do much to them. I’d just as soon make them run 12 plays and try to get a deflection or fumble.

I'm telling you

we need to bring in whoever is our backup QB (in theory Costello). If Blaine is hobbled like this, we will not win another Big XII game. The next option has to get experience. I love BG, I love Pinkel, but DAMN…use your freakin heads people.

by MissouriMarine on Oct 24, 2009 9:04 PM CDT reply actions

i think

there’s some formula some where in coaching land that says a qb has to play xxx number of plays before they can be considered experienced.

and xxx of those plays are going to be bad.

otherwise, I don’t understand it either.
