Missouri Tigers ride huge first half to 36-17 win against Colorado Buffaloes

UPDATE: PODCAST IS UP. We're bumping this back to the top of the page for that purpose.

Yep. This is your postgame reaction thread.

All in all, that first half was EXACTLY what this team needed, perhaps even more than we knew at the time.

FEAR THE FEDORA

What do tigers dream of when they take a little tiger snooze? Do they dream of mauling zebras, or Halle Berry in her Catwoman suit?

That work much better than the blood sacrifice against OK State

I couldn’t see it, but sounds like Gabbert’s ankle is almost back to rights?

looked like it...

…I think I saw him limp once or twice, but barely. A good sign for the rest of the year, as that’s (statistically) the best D we’ll see the rest of the regular season.

very true

most of the first half love-fest was colorado’s refusal to bring extra pressure. most of the bad plays involved an extra rusher.

it looked better

but the main thing where the throws…mostly online and bullets.

the MAIN thing has to be

that a pretty bad sprain will heal almost entirely in about 2-3 weeks if it’s not banged again. If he had most use of it this week, and wasn’t clocked again, he should be right as rain by next week.

Nearly. He looked a smidge wobbly, but much better than the previous weeks. That cast must’ve done the ankle wonders.

What’s concerning is that, when nearly back to full health, he still threw 2 inteceptions, one of which was a pick six…

by Tohoya on Oct 31, 2009 4:47 PM CDT up reply actions

Cast probably helped,

but the sprain was starting to approach the end of its natural life anyway.

I banged my wrist up a year or two back, to the point that I couldn’t bend it and thought it might be broken. 3 weeks later it was almost completely better for purposes of every day life.

Two notes:

— The postgame podcast will begin shortly, and should be posted in the next 30-60 minutes.

— You can talk about other games in the new National Thread

Saw this on the kU site

Reesing is hurt with a groin injury. From some of the fanposts, it looks like things are not well in Lawrence…beside, you know, the whole “you live in Lawrence” panic.
