I don't like those Georgia helmets

Great run by Tebow though.

Tech starting to pick up some momentum against KU

Although as I say that, a potential pick of Reesing is ruled incomplete.

ready to tie it up at 14

Wow...

So this happened:

— Franklin and Cunningham argue about whether or not Tech should kill the ball inside their own 10 with less than 1:15 in the half and KU with all three timeouts

— Tech goes under center, playaction, and the ball is knocked loose from Doege.

— KU appears to pick up the ball, is drilled, then ANOTHER KU guy gets the ball and rumbles to the 2. To make matters worse, a dude named Lubbock is the one that ends up with the KU recovery.

— KU scores. Tie ballgame.

Are both of Tech's other QB's injured?

I haven’t been paying much attention to all that

Yep.

Although Potts could play, I think. They haven’t been pleased with his performance though.

Love the picture

…but isn’t Cartman most likely a Colorado fan?

I will take this moment to say that, as a Rutgers grad from Missouri, this was probably the best combined college football day of the year for me. I definitely felt bad for the UConn kids, who have obviously been through a lot, but nice, gutsy win for RU today.

wait for KU to lose before you say that :)

announcers for Illini and Mich

“illini just have 8 plays of over 20 yards, they came into this game all year with only 28”

“yeah, when you get half of your season total in one game of those type of plays, something is working”

“half? is that half?”

It’s just some kinda fraction I don’t even know!

eheheh………………………………..hey, I understand it is really hard to be a Live announcer and all, but damn that was funny

Craaap

Reesing is literally a second from being dragged down for a sack, and throws it to a wide open Briscoe. There may have been a missed hold on the offense and roughing the passer is called instead.

21-14 KU

by ratherfantastic on Oct 31, 2009 5:14 PM CDT reply actions

yes sir!!!!

so if ku loses today that means they would have to beat texas in order to stay in the north race? b/c they’r 1-2 so with a loss 1-3 plus loss to ut 1-4 even if they win out they’re at 4-4, not good enough.

So um....

On 4th down, a Charlie Foxtrot of a play results in a fumbled snap by KU and after being kicked around for four seconds, Tech picks it up and runs it back.

Tim Griffin on Nebraska's win today:
But their victory today might have been their biggest of the season as they remain in the North Division title hunt.

A win over Baylor that everyone saw coming is their biggest win? Not the one over Missouri that has potential tiebreaker ramifications?

of course, are you high RPT? :-)

In a game where Baylor had more total yards too

Either way, given Mizzou needs to win out and very well can, we still need Nebraska to lose to OU (well yeah) and @ Kansas (looking less threatening now), K State or @ Colorado. As crappy as Nebraska has looked, if they get their shit together 5-3 isn’t out of question for them either. Mizzou people should be big Kansas fans when they game happens, as much as that pains many.
