My MIZZOU Memories from 1977, 2003 & 2007

[Ed. - Promoted from FanPosts]

I hope our boys of 09 can give us another AMAZING memory like some of our boys from the past!

The poster below is one of my most prized MIZZOU possessions I created.

via my facebook photos

Famous banned poster from MIZZOU vs. Nebraska 2003. It was banned because of the photograph used to make this poster. The photo showed one of the last times fans were able to tear down the goal posts. I have had it autographed by a majority of the MIZZOU players & coaches who were in that history making game and of course I was there!

Star-divide

You should have heard Mike Aldens wife chastise him one Football Saturday Afternoon when I walked by there tailgating set up after getting more autographs.  It was along the lines of...  some asshole decided to ban a photo,  who does that these days...

Man I wish I was a better writer because there is a good story behind almost every autograph. There is 1 unused ticket from the game, mine and 2 other used tickets, our parking pass, another autographed photo of Brad Smith, and this years 3 ticket stubs.. It would top it off if I had a piece of the goal post.

The photo below has a photo of the MIZZOU vs Nebraska game in 2007, another night that I will never forget! To the right is the cups they used to sell soda in back in the 60's, 70's and i think maybe even the 80's. Anyways thats the year I was born and my parents brought home that cup for me to commemorate my first MIZZOU Football Game!

Well I hope you enjoyed some of my memories and hopefully tonight we can all walk away with a new one. Thanks

Z O U!!!!!

"You get a lot of national exposure like that" Weatherspoon said. "Lot of people out there not really talking about the Tigers. . . . .You've got to go out there and get respect if you want it."

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
