Mizzou's ProCombat Uniform Leaked
(H/T: Seventh Floor)
And given that it's a white uniform, I feel confident in saying that for the second year in a row, Mizzou will be rolling out new duds at Arrowhead.

I'd like them better
if they had some Gold in them.
You know, only since that’s one of our colors and all that jazz.

I'm with you
I mean, I like blue – why not have Mizzou wear blue and white? Wouldn’t that be kick-ass?! Oh yeah, those aren’t our colors.

A certain Senior Captain 6-5 WR told me yesterday that they will be wearing those at Arrowhead.
I think they look kind of badass.

And, maybe (after last year), the less gold, the better.

I want to see the helmet
The jersey looks alright, but the lack of gold is partially because they are using them for the Kansas game when they are the ‘road’ team. I want to see the helmets. They look a little different.

The new uniform looks awesome
Who cares there is no gold.
I’m guessing a white-M on the helmet but a gold M would be awesome on the helmet

After seeing Miami's uniforms
with the odd gradient numbers, I can say that we got one of the better uniforms.
But count me among those who want gold in them thar kits.
It's a funny name.

At least they didn't try to make the uniforms mimic Tiger skin...
like they did with TCU. Ew.

Since I haven't actually commented on the unis yet...
…and just made snide references to the receivers…I should mention that I like these quite a bit more than I thought I would. Needless to say, I’m okay with a little bloodletting goldletting after last year’s gold debacle from which my eyes still haven’t completely recovered…

I think that having mizzou in gold lettering would be awesome.
I really think we need some gold SOMEWHERE. maybe the helmet.

something in the helmet?
or maybe the home kits (black shirts) would have more gold.

I don’t want to sound DISRESPECTful, but from everything I’ve read concerning the jerseys are that they are a one time thing.

I read on some Oklahoma news website
that 10 teams will be wearing these jerseys for one game this year – sort of like a preview. Then they are to be in full swing for next season.

…the EQUIPMENT will be used full-time next year, but this particular design is one-time only.

that some teams will be adopting these jerseys for next year. I am pretty sure Florida State is going to go with the jerseys next year.
Of course OU, TX, tOSU, Florida, and the other traditional powers will not be so it’s anyones guess.

This for the Va Tech uni's
But I reckon the same would true for Mizzou’s…
The Nike Pro Combat uniform is 37 percent lighter than current designs (673 grams vs. 1,061 grams). Nike utilized a four-way stretch twill that does not hold sweat or water and as a result, the new uniforms are 46 percent lighter than the current designs when wet. Overall, the Nike Pro Combat uniform, when wet, is still lighter than the current Virginia Tech design when completely dry.
Strategically placed padding zones in the Nike Pro Combat Deflex shorts cover the thighs, hips, and tailbone. The padding zones are comprised of dual-density foam cells that absorb, deflect and disperse the impact of on-field collisions. A foam grid intersects the cells to maximize impact absorption and increase flexibility. A hard plastic shield covers the thigh padding where impact frequently occurs.

Hey I quoted the same thing twice...
I’m an idiot…
wanted to show this as the third block…
With the padding incorporated into the base layer, players gain greater mobility over traditional padding and the outer uniform becomes a lightweight, breathable shell with a sleek, explosive look.
"Players need their uniforms to be as light as possible so they can play the game at top speed," said Kris Aman, Global VP and General Manager for Nike Athletic Training which includes football. "The Nike Pro Combat uniform is a modern system of dress that is dramatically lighter while providing durability and protection."
Nike scrutinized every detail of the Nike Pro Combat uniform with the goal of shedding as much weight as possible, right down to D-ring on the belt. Nike opted for a titanium D-ring, which is extremely durable and 66 percent lighter than the standard steel belt enclosure.
That’s right…titamium D-ring…the belt cost 20 bucks, but it’s LIGHT!

I agree
Although I might purchase one for wear over the summer (during the offseason where my superstitions can be laid bare for all to see).
But I view those Gold Jerseys much like the Notre Dame green jerseys have become:
Do not use under penalty of death. Unless you want a loss.
Again, I am superstitious.

These look pretty sweet
I did not like some of the other designs (too much stuff) and also too much slogans
I really like the Mizzou ones, perhaps a big white M or a big gold M on the helmet with no outlines would take it to that next level.
However, what if there was a flat black M on the side of the helmet? You could barely see it, but……that might be pretty sweet.

I think that the Oregon Unis
play a role in this whole pro-combat uni thing. The titanium D-Rings were part of the press release when the new Oregon unis dropped this season. I remember that because I mocked them in something I wrote over at Bleacher Report. That and the material being so much lighter than traditional unis.
