The committee was headed by Baylor Associate Athletic Director Paul Bradshaw. Even more disgusting that a committee headed by a Big 12 associate AD snubbed Mizzou. Way to look after your own, Paul.

Paul_Bradshaw@baylor.edu, if you would like to give him a piece of your mind.

Should Baylor be promoted a notch or two on the hatred scale for this? Perhaps now we actually root against them from time to time in some sports?

If it's the same way that it is in basketball

Conference reps have to leave the room when their conference is discussed. I don’t know if that’s the case here, but maybe we should find out before spewing out blind hate e-mails.

I wasn't necessarially suggesting hate mail

But some e-mail messages to the committee chair might at least help for the future for a human based committee to actually look past what the computers say and use some common sense to put in a regular season major conference champion over the 8th best pac-10 team or something of sorts. Obviously nothing will put Missouri in this year’s field.

Also, if the selection process is like the basketball process, committee members only leave the room when their specific institution is being discussed. They abstain from voting on conference mates.

This is a pretty big snub...

and I’ma let cha finish Mizzou women soccer but, Portland is the best soccer team of all time! (jk)

In all seriousness however, this is a pretty big snub, and it really sucks for those girls they surely put it together and were on fire during conference play. That was an incredible run.

I do like the idea of people trying to do something to change things for the better. Thank you for your enthusiasm shaffe! It is better than just complaining and not doing anything.

However it boils down to Mizzou got left out. Next year perhaps another deserving team will get left out, and the year after that. Let’s just hope if Mizzou has another incredible run next year, this will not happen again.

Keep your heads up girls you did everything you could. Be proud of that! Use this as motivation to destroy people next year!
