i set my dvr in the futile hope that this game will not be blacked out on directv. it shows up on fsmw on the guide, but blacks out at game time. its not on the full court channels either, although kansas v hofstra is. vomit

which is why I’m not worried. We will eventually make these shots we are missing.
I just wish our bigs wouldn’t shoot from so far outside. That is why we have guards.

I'm kinda worried it might.
That seemed to be our biggest weak spot last season, outside of Demarre and Leo inside and at their 15 foot sweet spot I remember the first sentence of most of my phone calls to friends during/after the game begin ‘we can’t shoot to save our lives.’
It won’t (knock on wood) matter tonight, but I think we’ll lose a couple of very frustrating games this season because we lack a legitimately good to very good shooter.

Playing good D. Forced 18 turnovers.
ZTs driving layups are the only consistent shots we are hitting
We are something like 3-10 from 3. That needs to improve.
Luckily our strength is wearing opponents down. We are a second half team. Body blows in the first half. Round house in the second. My Over/Under in the second half is Mizzou by 25. What will you take?

is just toying with them at this point. I gotta give it up to NWMS, they hung around and shot well, while handling most of the pressure the first half. They are just outmatched right now.

i dunno if this has been brought up...
but that seemed like the longest game i have ever sat through. stoppages in play approximately every 10 seconds. drove me crazy. just ask transmogrified.
capital letters suck.

on a more positive note, Bowers had a reverse alley oop with about a minute left that was a pretty disgusting display of athleticism. Of course it got wiped off because of an off the ball foul from Miguel Paul, who is seemingly always on the brink of doing something wrong.
