Missouri wins battle of wills in 34-24 victory against Iowa State
In a game that wasn't incredibly pretty but also wasn't horrifically ugly, Missouri did exactly what it needed to do when it needed to do it. All in all, it was pretty much exactly what could be expected.
Furthermore, Danario Alexander is the best wide receiver in the country. Act accordingly.
You can bet we'll have more to come, but for now, enjoy this one (this is your postgame reaction thread) and get yourself ready for Arrowhead. Hate Week has officially begun. Bring on the Beaks.

I've never seen
so many plays where multiple guys seemed to have an angle on a player and he just out runs them anyway. It’s unbelievable.

It's interesting...
… because it’s not his foot speed that does it. The dude just has such… long… strides.

Gritty performance in the 2nd half
after a lackluster first half. Here are a few thoughts that I had as the game progressed:
I really wish Dave Yost and/or Gary Pinkel would draw up a few new running plays. There were a few times where a running play was obviously going to be called, and it seems like they either run the shotgun-counter or the shotgun-keeper every time. There was one drive in either the 3rd or 4th quarter that fizzled out after 3 unsuccessful run attempts.
I don’t know what Kevin Rutland’s problem was today. I watched him blow coverage at least 3 or 4 times.
The pass interference call against Carl Gettis in the 4th quarter was complete crap. There was no pass interference.
On a side note, thanks to everyone at the RMN tailgate. My friend and I had a great time, and it was fun watching him try and chug that last Bud Light at the North gate into the stadium before we went in. Brady Deaton would not have been amused.

I thought for sure the intereference call against Gettis
would be against the ISU player. Gettis had his back turned to the receiver when the ball was in the air.

in the stands today
I witnessed 2 isu fans and a ku douche get “escorted” out of the stadium. awesome, they were so obnoxious and got embarrassed as they should have. the state trooper was pointing at the beaker hat the whole way down the stairs. :-)

just curious...
what section was that in? I had a run in with some pretty obnoxious ISU fans in TT I think. I wasn’t the only one annoyed by them and by halftime, I thought that it was going to come to blows between them and some Mizzou students that were in front of me. I would have gladly jumped in had a brawl erupted.

guys I saw were around GG-HH.
sounds like we were both on the east side. caused quite the commotion. took about 6 troopers to get them out. course they could’ve just been bored.

That was in EE/FF, I think...
…we’re in EE, and we saw that happen. The trooper was definitely milking the moment…
