Nov. 21 Evening Thread
Time to fire up another thread for the evening.
State what you're watching and what you're drinking. You have Texas trying to keep Kansas bowl ineligible as well as KSU and Nebraska playing for the North title. Should be entertaining.
Elsewhere, in a related story, Danario Alexander remains the best wideout in the country. /endoftransmission

As we were sitting down in the press room (Adjacent to the locker room) after the game
We could hear the players celebrating. All of a sudden they break into “Rock Chalk Chicken Hawk, FKU!”
I guess Hate Week has begun!

I love this.
I sometimes wonder if people who live in KC have an extra level of hatred for KU – it’s so fucking unbearable being in this town with all these state-traitor Beakers. I hate it! We must win this week.

I grew up in KC
and always took the hate level for granted… but I have heard that there is a special higher level of hate in Kansas City.

Yep.
I will admit that the Chase Daniel era and last year’s basketball team seems to have brought more Mizzou gear out and about. But we are still outnumbered – even on the MO side.

The only great result is a meteor that comes in & takes out the whole stadium. Alas- I don’t see that happening.

unless he busts out in the second half of course.

Look at Les Miles' wikipedia page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Miles
Leslie Edwin “Les” Miles (born November 10, 1953 in Elyria, Ohio) is an American college football coach and the current head coach of the Louisiana State University football team. Prior to holding that position, he was head coach at Oklahoma State. To date, he is America’s first mentally handicapped man to coach at the collegiate level.

what a bunch of crap...
…not only do they keep it on every last second of the KU-Texas blowout, but they’re also not allowed to switch over to Arizona-Oregon after the last of the last post-game interviews? You know, even though UA-UO is going to freaking overtime?

What we learned today
1) We can score 240% more in the second half as compared to the first half.
2) ghtd is HUGE
3) Nebraska are Big 12 North champs
4) Parker Eshelman has got chops
5) Les Miles is (allegedly) the only mentally handicapped coach in college football… and (allegedly) probably gay. And I thought people were rough on Pinkel. No reports that he says mean things to the players or touches them inappropriately, however.
6) There IS…. no number 6.
7) If you lose your leading receiver, starting tight end, running back and quarterback… you’re just not going to be very good, no matter who you are.
8) Despite the presence on campus of one Isiah Thomas, FIU is still not quite ready to compete with Florida
