Post-Dispatch: MU wins one for seniors
Post-Dispatch (Bryan Burwell): MU youth show promise[Jerrell] Jackson is the answer to Pinkel's offensive prayers, the dangerous compliment to Alexander. Think of him as Matt Holliday to Alexander's Albert Pujols. Jackson is emerging as the receiver who can line up either next to Alexander or on the opposite side of the field and force defenses to pick their poison.
He can do much better. He can not drop or fumble passes. Start to remedy that, and he's a helluva player.
"As he continues to mature, you see how good he's going to be," said Pinkel, who has spent the last month or so challenging him to raise his game to this level and become the next link in the receiving superstar chain that began with Maclin and has moved on to Alexander. "Even after last week's game in the locker room I said 'You can do better.' I don't know if he wanted to hear that ..."
