Can't really say I'm shocked

Quite frankly, I forgot he was on the team.

I was shocked for three seconds...

…then realized that yeah, it made a lot of sense. I mean, 1) he chose CU primarily because he was related to WR Josh Smith, who transferred to UCLA this summer, and 2) he’s buried on the depth chart (due as much to injury as anything else) on a terrible offense. Not sure what his ceiling actually is, but he probably wasn’t going to reach it at CU…or at the very least, he wasn’t going to enjoy himself as much away from home and away from Smith…

So...

Like Smith, does he get the choice between UCLA and USC and nowhere else?

[And, yes, I totally understand that CU’s logic behind this was that Smith cited his desire for a specific music major, and CU found those two schools that had that major. But boxing him in like that was still pretty weak.]

Quite possibly, yes, unless they want to throw in Cal Poly-SLO in

since it’s two hours from Ventura.

I would suspect he follows his cousin to UCLA.

I think we are going to start seeing more and more schools box in their big name recruits that want to transfer; I’m thinking about the whole Robert Marve/the “U” situation this offseason.

My first reaction

Then upon understanding some points others have brought up. I guess it’s just one of those years in Boulder. Man, that just sucks.

Tim Griffin is saying UCLA. No surprise.

If he couldn’t cut it at Colorado, I wonder how UCLA will go. Yikes.

Thoughts on a SDSU type team?

They suck.
They’ve sucked since Marshall Faulk.
They play in a empty Qualcomm Stadium.
College football only exists in Los Angeles, if you’re in So. Cal. You’re either a USC fan or a UCLA fan.

Seems like a decent match...
They suck.

So does Darrell Scott

They’ve sucked since Marshall Faulk.

So has Darrell Scott’s Buffs career (seems like he’s been there longer than 2yrs, right?)

They play in a empty Qualcomm Stadium.

Most Buffs fans have quit on this team. Did you see the amount of Mizzou fans in Boulder?

It’s Southern Cali! How can you really go wrong? USC > UCLA until the sanctions come down. UCLA football in SoCal is about as relevant as SDSU, right?

I shouldn't say he sucks. He just hasn't done anything...

Guess I’m just po’d since I thought this guy would be a stud. Not sure if injuries were his only problem.

Seriously, would you rather play for this guy:

And the poor get poorer.

What do tigers dream of when they take a little tiger snooze? Do they dream of mauling zebras, or Halle Berry in her Catwoman suit?
