Around SBN: MLB Trade Deadline: Who is available around MLB?

On the morning after the Albuquerque Thunderbirds lost a defense-is-optional 135-112 shootout to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, it befits my general level of confusion that I’m thinking about the only T-Bird to step on the court and not score.

Jason Horton managed to play more than a full quarter’s worth of a game that included 247 total points and take just one shot in said game. Which sounds exactly like the Jason Horton I remember.

Mizzou guy and friend of RMN Steve Weinman on the, uhh, evolving professional career of Mizzou's former future star guard, Mr. Jason Horton.

The last thing I expected to see on the front page of RMN

was a Jason Horton reference. Anybody know if Stefhon Hannah is still playing with Martin Zeno in Cyprus?

While I'm not sure about Hannah's current status,

I’m fairly certain he is no longer playing with Zeno: the former Red Raider is a D-Leaguer himself these days, playing for the Erie Bayhawks.

Thanks to Bill for the link.

Growing up in the Weinman household, you learn two rules very quickly if you aspire to reach double-digits in the years-of-age category: Hate thy Knick, hate thy Yankee.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
