However, this is the first (credible) time I've heard this 2015 matchup between us and Notre Dame. The other sources are here and here. Does anyone else have any official information on this matter? This would be a pretty big non-conference opponent!

In other words, Tim Griffin was (shockingly) incorrect with this statement.

I think we need the athletic dept to confirm this one way or the other...
…I’d heard that it was likely, but then I also thought I’d heard that talks fell apart because Notre Dame was insisting on having our return game in St. Louis or something instead of Columbia (which…yeah, screw that). So I don’t know how done a deal this actually is, but it would certainly be fun…

If this isn’t a home and home, then Notre Dame can fuck right off. How in the hell are we not big enough to deserve a home and home with ANYONE? Is it the 38 (soon to be 39) wins in the last 4 years? Is it the 5 straight bowl games? Is it the Conference Championship Game appearances? These are things Notre Dame can’t say.
If anything, WE should be the ones getting the home game and not returning the favor.

I don’t know whether you should be commended for journalistic integrity or berated for putting up bad info in the first place…but you changed your article to omit the supposed Missouri vs. Notre Dame game in 2015 after I emailed you about it. Perhaps you should just stick to covering the Texas schools, since that’s all you care about anyhow. Maybe ESPN can hire a B12 North beat writer so we can actually get some real coverage.

I emailed him this morning and simply pointed out that, um, nobody had any knowledge of this game as per mutigers.com and the future schedules from Mizzou.
Since, you know, we have 2017 and 2018 games against Wyoming listed, I am sure we would have had ND listed there.

Shocking! NOT. Have no idea how he got/keeps that job, other than his UT connections/love along with copious NU butt kissing.
It is always amusing to watch the many, glaringly bad typos that seem to make it into every third post.
And he is uber clueless when it comes to MU, or for that matter any other north team beside NU. And most of the NU stuff is pure ego stroking- no insight, just warm fuzzies for nubbers.
