Not Rumors--Movement
I am a baseball fan, but baseball plays a lot of OOC games. Mizzou could dominate the Big Ten and get prime seeding by also getting some great non-con games. In addition, Mizzou could get some talent out of Big Ten country while maintaining ties Jamiseon currently has, right? I think that these sort of discussions should be had. If I am just outright wrong—please tell me why. (I know on message boards people tend to read sarcasm or animus into posts, but I am being sincere).
People are being too narrow-minded. Over the course of its history, the Big Ten has been a much better conference in just about everything.
I know this is a sports sight, but this move benefit every single Mizzou graduate by adding value to our degrees. It would also infuse the athletic department with millions more for everything from recruiting to adding additional sports. Mike Alden has shown extreme savvy in getting a high return on investment. Mizzou’s budget is fairly pedestrian given our recent successes.

The most laughable part to me
was about halfway down, I think, when a commenter made a slam against Missouri saying that we are basically Pitt with a history of cheating.
Because Michigan would never, ever, EVER cheat.
Just ask Chris Webber. Or Tractor Traylor. Or Rich Rodriguez.

Man, I hate the 80s and 90s
Everyone always points out that Nebraska is 58-33-3 against Mizzou, but no one points out that there’s a 24-year losing streak in there. On January 1979, the record was 31-27-3 in Nebraska’s favor. It’s not like (hate to say this) MU-kU in hoops where it’s lopsided because it’s always been lopsided. It was an incredibly close rivalry until 30 years ago, then we started really, really sucking.

That chart is just awful
What does willingness have to do with the situation?
How is Nebraska basketball on the same level as Missouri basketball? Better yet, how is Notre Dame basketball above Missouri basketball?
For those of you not in Big Ten country, stuff like this is why just about every Big Ten school prints and sells a Muck Fichigan shirt.
