Softball vs. FIU

Going back to back this morning in their only action for the day, the #15 Mizzou Tigers are looking to move to 7-0 against the FIU Panthers.

On the hill for her first start of the season is senior Stacy Delaney, who was intergral in the Tigers' run to the Super Regional last season.  Perhaps a little rusty, Delaney gave up 2 hits in the first inning, but no runs.  BRING IN THOMAS!! (I keed...I keed)

Mizzou pushed a run across in the first inning off a two-out double from super senior Micaela Minner and a clutch single from sophomore 1B Marla Schweisberger.  They currently have two on and none out in the 2nd inning.

bases loaded and none out for Mizzou

Abby Vock (#9 hitter) is up.

Mizzou can end it early with 3+ runs here and a scoreless bottom of the 6th

And as sure as the sun sets in the west...

I jinx the Mizzou effort, as Vock lines into a double play and FIU gets out of the inning.

5-0 headed to the bottom of the 6th
