Maclin to the Jets with 17th Pick

Don Banks has the Jets taking Maclin 17th in the first round. While I think this undervalues his ability, it's better than him going to the Raiders to disappear.

How awesome would it be for Brad Smith to throw a gadget play TD to Maclin? The combo that never happened in college could come true in the NFL.

I think The Beef just wet himself in anticipation.

I doubt Maclin goes this low, but that certainly wouldn’t be a bad place for him.

McShay just had him going #8 to the Jags

which is a new slot (McShay still had the Raiders taking Crabtree 7th).

I was saying to The Boy earlier today….the only way I think he ends up this low is if he does not improve upon the 4.45 at the Pro Day next week. It would be undeserving for him to move down, but I would CERTAINLY take him right here. In fact…if he is there for some reason and the Jets do not take him, I may seriously start to question my allegiance to them.
