Chris Rohr Wins Big XII Title in Weight Throw
The owner of the longest indoor track weight throw toss of the season came right out on Friday and did exactly what he needed to do. Senior Chris Rohr won the Big XII title basically with his first toss of 22.30 m (73 feet plus) and was never close to being challenged, winning the competition by almost 8 feet. Rohr will head to the NCAA's as one of the favories in the event and certainly with a high liklihood of placing.
Senior Krishna Lee took third in the women's weight throw, scoring team points fo rthe Tigers. Junior Brian Hancock placed 4th in the pole vault for Mizzou as well.
More information as Rohr still has the shot put to compete in later this weekend.
