The Baylor fans (all 12 of them) got rather silent when the KU video showed them with the national championship trophy.

This means we’ll have Leo’s “Are you ready??” and JYD’s scream tonight here at the Ford Center.

Someone behind me asked if the score was a misprint. Someone WEARING A CREDENTIAL ISSUED TO A WORKER FOR THE BIG 12 CONFERENCE said “I wish.”

The first thing I said was “OH MY GOD!”. This is pretty cool.

My boss just came in and watched a few minutes with me.

I will be all smiles today if BU can win this.

They will become my second favorite Big 12 team.

If Baylor can keep the lead around 10 heading into the half…they got a real good shot at the upset.

I don’t know which name makes me laugh more: Tweety Carter or Brady Morningstar

Maybe kU only has 1 turd-bullet in their stinker-gun. They decided they want t save it for th NCAA’s.

We spoke more about basketball during that conversation than we have in the entire time we’ve been together.

Ah, kansas basketball: Bringing families together. Especially when they lose embarrassingly.

I had no idea they could lose to Baylor. I did not even know that they were playing Baylor.
In Golf news, Tiger is -2 thru 11 which is good for 4 shots behind the lead

We were talking about this while watching the game during lunch.

I figure they’re solidly at a 4 now, after losing to Tech and Baylor in a week. Had they won at least one of these two games, they were looking at a 3 with a shot at playing into a 2.

…this is not at ALL the result I expected to see when I got out of a long meeting, but…YES.

That’s what my dad calls it when kU loses and we win.

I realize our style of play will often lead to an increase in fouls called, but really? We get 10 fouls in 12 minutes sometimes. I didn’t get to see the game, so maybe there is a reasonable explanation for this, but it caught my eye when looking at gamecast.

…that since ghtd36 and I finished our podcast (in which we said that ATM was winning easily and KU was going to win easily), we’ve been made to look very, very dumb.

not a good day for high seeds in the B12 or ACC. still BEGGING for a lower seeded victory in the big east tournament. can marquette come through for me?

…BYU’s in regardless, but Air Force is TERRIBLE (10-20 overall, 0-16 in conference pre-tourney)…this would at least knock down their seed in my bracket by 2-3 spots…

Weirder than I thought.

holy crap. still no lower seeded victories in the big east tourney. and they won’t come tonight either with UCONN and pitt playing. although i thought there was no chance baylor would beat kansas either.

mizzou bucks the trend of lower seeds winning and wins 84-70, the game is never very close.

There isn’t a team left in the tournament that has beaten Mizzou. We’re 5-0 against the remaining 5 teams.
