They said "There is no way Mizzou Basketball can keep the students entertained after football season"    ... and then they did.

They said "There is no way Mizzou can win their first real road game in Georgia" ... and then they did.

They said "Mizzou has the same trouble makers as last year when Leo got suspended, they need leaders to step up and guide the young recruits." ... and then they did.

They said "They are good, but they will never reach the rankings.."  ... and then they did.

They said "It was there weak nonconference schedule that produced the 13-2 record, not the ability of the Tigers.  They won't do well in the Big XII style of basketball."   ... and then they did.

They said, "The Nebraska loss is devastating, Mizzou won't recover unless they win their next 2 home games." ... and then they did. (beating colorado by 45 - largest spread in big XII history!)

They said "Mizzou cannot win on the road in the Big XII" ... and then they did.

They said "Mizzou is a one half team, and after blowing this big of a lead to Oklahoma State, there is no way they will be able to finish this game off."  ... and then they did.

They said "Students are still not supporting this team like they should, they can't sell out a non-kansas home game!" ... and then they did. (vs. Baylor)

They said "Mizzou still has not beat an elite Big XII team, no way they can do it on the road versus Texas!" ... and then they did. (coffee; part one!)

They said "Mizzou cannot come from down 14 in 10 mins. against this strong of a KU team" ... and then they did. (coffee; part two!)

They said "Mizzou cannot beat an OU team that has a healthy Blake Griffin on the roster" ... and then they did.

They said "Mizzou has never won a Big XII championship in basketball, and Kansas and OU are too good for Mizzou.  No way they can win." ... and then they did.

They said "Mizzou can't beat a team with Dominic James, and there is no way they will be able to finish this Marquette team off with this much momentum" ... and then they did.

They said "Mizzou cannot beat Memphis, they are too quick, too big, too good at shooting, too similar to Mizzou"   ................... and then they did.

it's that simple.  have faith in our team, i know they do in themselves.
