A few days into the summer, when they still could have used Hello My Name Is tags to identify one another, Kim English was chattering about winning a national championship.
"He's like, 'Hey, this team could win it all,'" J.T. Tiller said. "A freshman. I'm looking at him like, 'Let's make the tournament first.'"
No one laughs at English any more. Well, that's not true. This team laughs at everybody, a regular comedy on the court of smart-cracking jokesters who have grown from a team of strangers to a team; a team now 40 minutes from Missouri's first Final Four in school history, 120 minutes from making crazy English a prophet.
ESPN's Dana O'Neil. So much good stuff to read today.

congrats
I’m a lifelong Jayhawk fan, KU alum, and your standard missouri-hater. But I have to say, this is the hardest MU team in recent memory to root against. It was fun to make fun of Missouri when Quin was running the program into the ground and recruiting criminals left and right, but how do you wish bad luck on a guy like Mike Anderson? And the way the team plays is worthy of a lot of respect, I think. Supremely unselfish and relentless. You don’t see that much in today’s game. And man, I wish J.T. Tiller played for us.
But anyway, I’ve been lurking around here the last couple weeks just out of curiosity, because your season has been an interesting story; probably similar to our 2007 football season. And yeah, if the improbable happens and we meet in the Final Four, I’ll have forgotten all about this. But good luck against UConn.
thank you much...
…it’s funny to think that there’s still a possibility we could meet again this year, but…yeah…nothing seems inconceivable at this point…

Thrust nunchuk upward!
not to put the cart in front of the horse
but our inevitable road to destiny could include both Kansas and Oklahoma
Everything goes out the window when MU and KU actually meet
But we really do appreciate the sentiment and love having you drop by RMN.
