Franklin asked for release from KC, is now with Detroit

This is according to fellow SBNation site, Arrowhead Pride, and goes into detail about potential problems with new KC head coach Todd Hailey.  And actually, if you want to get technical, it's all according to 610 AM in KC.

The full article can be found here.

I knew Copter would get another shot, because he's just got too much potential.  So now he'll go up and be a potential target for Matt Stafford in all likelihood.  I guess I don't care if a coach is going to be tough with players or not, but there's a pretty major difference between being tough and being a fucking asshole.  Why single out Franklin?  How about you go make an example of Larry Johnson, or a WR that was brought in as a free agent and hasn't done anything (Devard Darling) in more than a single season on a team that sucked, had no passing game, and he was hurt for most of?

Bah.

I'm losing respect for Haley based on this kind of thing

I fully understand pushing players hard and trying to change the culture that developed under Edwards. But the reasons presented there seem like really arbitrary things to target a player for, especially given that he showed up 5 lbs. overweight to a VOLUNTARY practice session. I would also wager that a majority of the individuals commenting on that thread are Red-Headed Chicken fans.

If there's one thing I've realized this year, it's that I really do hate Cole Aldrich.
