"Not that I'm surprised to see [Southern Miss TE Shawn Nelson] listed among the top tight ends in the draft, with his maddening potential, but I've seen Chase Coffman play numerous times, too, once in person, and the idea that Nelson is a better fit in any system than Coffman seems ludicrous: Besides being deservingly awarded as the best tight end in the country Coffman is huge, has religious hands and consistency, can be a dominating goalline receiver and is athletic enough to do this, at least."

Glad someone else saw this...
…I tried to post this earlier—it HAD to be shared—but the computer I’m currently at somehow won’t allow me to copy-paste. Doc Saturday is making a LOT of sense in that post…Bill Simmons’ “VP of Common Sense” sounds like a better idea every day. That, or a “VP of Watching Actual College Football Games To Get An Idea Of Whether These Guys Are Actually Good Players”…

Thrust nunchuk upward!
I was there when he hurdled that poor guy. I almost choked on my pretzel!
not that I hadn’t seen him do it before but it’s just so incredible when it happens.
Whomever gets Chase Coffman is going to get
one HELL of a steal. It would be fun to say “he was the 1st TE taken”, but it didn’t hurt Albert Pujols’ career to be taken in the 13th round (yeah, yeah, different sports, but he’ll get a chance to play his way into the lineup).
Simple truth is that Chase has battled some injury issues, and I’m sure that is part of the reason that teams are wary about him.
He’ll be fine, and the team who gets him will get a great bargain… until he becomes a pro-bowler.
"When he went for that ball and dived over the table, I knew what was next to come. I felt sorry for what Texas Tech had to face after that."
