Missouri goes down in order in the first...
Ramos throwing inside a lot early.

FWIW
Hicks will go two today because McCormick had to throw yesterday. He struck out the first two in the second and got a flyout, so two shutout innings is the extent of his outing.

Coleman singles, advances to third on a perfectly executed hit-and-run by Kyle Mach
Offense in business here.

Ampleman takes a bases-loaded walk
2-0 Mizzou, still nobody out and bases loaded for Liberto.

Six runs cross the plate in the inning.

Well...
Scooter Hicks has 5 strikeouts through three really good innings of work.
I mean really good. That is all.

Kyle Mach DRILLS a solo home run to left
It hit into the pine trees behind the 370 mark on the outfield. It had to go at least 400 feet.
7-0 Mizzou.

Nuts
Hicks gives up a one-out double in the top of the fifth to break up the perfect game.
Chicago White Sox Examiner — Your what hurts?
Hicks finally starting to tire here
gives up a two-out walk and a two-run double. Jamieson going to the bullpen for Ryan Clubb.
Still, this was a hell of an outing for Hicks. Nobody expected him to go more than two innings, but he goes 4.1 without allowing a baserunner.

Clubb gives up a wind-aided two-run homer
TT cuts the score to 7-4 with that big inning.

Also, doing some research here...
Remember Rick Zagone? He’s been pretty good so far in the Orioles organization. In fact, he was way better facing low-A hitters in 2008 than he was against college hitters.
Also, Trevor Coleman just picked up an RBI single. 8-4 MU.

Fick on to pitch for Clubb
Runner on third for Tech, two out.
Chicago White Sox Examiner — Your what hurts?
Fick absolutely saws off LeJeune
Gets MU out of the inning unscathed.

TT's Jeremy Mayo just bombed a leafoff home run WAY over the scoreboard
His second HR today. 9-5 MU now, runner on first nobody out for Tech with Gargano pitching.
Chicago White Sox Examiner — Your what hurts?
Going to the top of the ninth
9-5 Mizzou, Buehler coming on for the save.
Today’s attendance: 1,506. Just shy of 3,000 for the first two games of the series.
