The wind isn't blowing out as hard as it's been early in the series.
Tepesch's ERA is up to 6.92 this year. This would be a huge start to get him turned around, especially against a pretty good lineup that Tech features.
A win for Missouri puts them up two games on Tech in the Big 12 standings. A loss would put both teams at 10-11 with six games to go.

And TT immediately pulls Karns for Chad Bettis—who’s easily their best pitcher. 2.54 ERA on the year, 19 BB/44 K. Also their closer, but can go deep into games.

RBI single to right for Folgia
6-1 Mizzou. First and second, still only one out for Coleman.
This lineup is looking really, really good. If they’re doing this against Bettis, it’s no fluke.

Great job by Tepesch pitching around it

Taking a break from updates the rest of the way
I’m putting the Sox/Blue Jays game on MLB.tv so I can sling the Bulls/Celtics game, and then I probably should get most of my recap done.
If anything big happens, I’ll post it, but Missouri’s in very good shape right now.
