Missouri v. No. 15 DePaulFINAL: Mizzou wins 1-0

Mizzou will have two chances to win one game after their back-to-back wins yesterday morning and early afternoon. The winner will advance to the Super Regional as the Tigers will look to make that trip two years in a row. They are also out to win their team-record 48th game of the season. Expected pitchers will be Heteniak for Depaul (who threw 14 innings yesterday afternoon and early evening) and either Thomas (who threw 6.1 yesterday morning) or Delaney (who threw 4 yesterday early afternoon) for the Tigers.

Got to get it done in the first game...

Get on them early and just remove all chance they generate some some confidence. Depaul has played 14 innings since last we played. We are at home and have every advantage really you can think of. Just need to go out and get it done and based on how they took it to OU in the Big XII Championship game, I have to like our chances to do just that.

is anything on the other side of downtown. Especially near Hollywood. That part of LA is the place where if you don’t drive a car that cost at least $50K, you’re looked at funny. UCLA is off the 405 ~~freeway~~ parking lot. USC is off the 110, on this side of downtown, and is a little easier to access.

I have a lot of friends in Westwood who don’t drive anything close to a $50K car. Westwood is different than Hollywood.
The biggest problem with that part of town, esp if you’re coming from San Diego, is the traffic. The 405 is murderous.
