The un-holy aliance reaps it first victim of the Big 12 BaseB Chapionship
Will it continue?
The high five meme emphatically says yes without listing any reason. Hey ESPN doesn’t have to, neither does the un-holiest of memes

Man, I hope this UT-Baylor is over
by the time we’re supposed to play. It’s 4th inning and they’ve been playing for 1 1/2 hour so far. Looking at a 3 hour game, which gives about 10-15 minutes between games.

I'm hearing the Sirius/XM feed when I pull up the video
I am an XM subscriber, but I don’t think that’s why, as I haven’t ever logged onto it from this computer.

Sorry, that should say I don't THINK I have ever logged
onto it from this computer. Obviously, if I have never logged onto it, my computer wouldn’t just KNOW I’m a subscriber.

This is kinda obvious
but make sure you’re not muted (volume is between “Playing” and “Share”).
I just clicked on the “TV” link above and the sound is fine.

OOF - Baylor puts up an 8 spot in the top of the 6th.
11-7 Bears – bottom 6
The sleeper has awoken. . .awakened. . .he woke up.
good lord...that is a big spot

now that I look...
the B12 gametracker only shows 7 innings at the top of the page…dunno if that’s because that’s all they’re playing, or because that’s as far in the game as they’ve gotten…
Kansas - K-State were tied after 7
however, K-State was leading after 8, and they still played 9.

-- J. T. Tiller - 3/12/09
2 more runs in the top of the 7th
after an error on the Texas 3rd baseman….13-7 going to the bottom of the 7th
wow...early upset is eminent it looks like
Can’t say this saddens me…I am all for someone wacky coming out of the other side.

is it just because I’m 1 minute early?

Apparently so

maybe the aggies just forfeited?
they couldnt figure out how to get 3 more men on the field to make 12 without getting caught.
"If you believe in telekinesis, raise my hand."
If we can win in OK City.. i say we move all our home games there.

Attendance couldn't be much worse
weather would certainly be better.

Thrust nunchuk upward!
My memory goes back to my few attempts to attend a game
at Simmons field during college. frigid temps, cold wind, wet…. March in Missouri on top of a hill is not a good time to watch baseball.
"When he went for that ball and dived over the table, I knew what was next to come. I felt sorry for what Texas Tech had to face after that."
-- J. T. Tiller - 3/12/09
has anyone actually been to OK city?
they have signs that line their highways that say “do not drive into the smoke”
…more reason i wouldnt want to play there. but a big xii championship is a big xii championship.
"If you believe in telekinesis, raise my hand."
Driven there on my way to Austin
that’s about the extent of my desire to go there, honestly. But, that has more to do with the fact that it’s Oklahoma than anything to do with the city.

yeah i drove through on my way from st. louis...
…to el paso. that is the worst drive ever. 22 hours straight just to watch a heartbreaking sun bowl. oklahoma blows though.
"If you believe in telekinesis, raise my hand."
lived there, grew up near there...
…and you have to admit, telling you not to drive into smoke is pretty good advice!!
Rock M Nation
Thrust nunchuk upward!
what smoke?
…people burning yards? or the smoke drifting over from boulder?
"If you believe in telekinesis, raise my hand."
In KC, they tell you to drive TO the smoke
‘course, when you do that in KC, you end up at Bryant’s or Okie Joe’s.

Well..others have made this point and I tend to agree with it
While winning the Big XII Tourney would be a nice achievement for our program, it seems coaches/managers value it differently. Since we are not (likely) playing our way into hosting a regional at this point, I can see where it would not make sense to try to win the thing at the risk of really burdening your chances to win a regional. Gibson is going to be key either way, and trust me, I would love both. But, I think I might take a regional advancement over a title since a super regional is a best 2 out of 3 and he would give us a great shot there as well on his proper rest

Bottom of the 6th, Mizzou still up 4-0
7, 8, and 9 batters due up
Ryan Ampleman
Garrison McLagan
Michael Liberto
Ryan Ampleman
New pitcher for aTm: Alex Wilson
works the count full…
and is walked
Action in the Mizzou bullpen…
action in the bullpen is interesting
and may speak to how TJ values things…

Michael Liberto
Runners at 1st and 3rd
grounded to the SS, gets the force at 2nd, but Libero beats the throw at 1st.

Kyle Colligan
hit up the middle, off McCormick, over to 3rd, but no play anywhere…
Bases loaded, 1 out
Jamison on...
taking a look at McCormick’s ankle…ump is giving him a few warmup pitches…but he’s staying in the game
Joe Patterson
hits to 3rd, Mach steps on 3rd, and throws to 1st for the 5-3 DP, nobody scores, inning over
Bottom of the 8th, still 5-0 Mizzou
6, 7, and 8 for Mizzou due up
Steve Gray
Ryan Ampleman
Garrison McLagan
Ryan Ampleman
Another new pitcher for aTm: Nick Fleece, the normal closer
hit to 3rd, 5-3 for the 2nd out
Top of the 9th
6, 7 and 8 due up for aTm
Caleb Shofner
Kevin Gonzalez
Adam Smith
New pitcher for Mizzou: Brad Bueler
Phil McCormick: 2/3IP, 1H
Caleb Shofner
Buler launched one over the head of Shofner, so control is an issue early on….
Full count…
Fly ball down the right field line, and Steve Gray reaches over the tarp to make the 1st out.
David Alleman
hit by ball, Ump calls him back and says he leaned into the pitch…aTm coach out to argue…
continuing his at bat
ground to Holt at 2nd, but couldn’t hang on to the ball, Gonzalez scores from 3rd, 5-1, runners on 1st and 3rd
that sucks..I hate having to get Tepesch up for this
considering I am guessing he is a starter on Friday, or at least one of the two games
