Where's the MU/Texas game online?
I wouldn’t mind having that on as I spend another 5 hours in the Futures Lab today.
Chicago White Sox Examiner — Your what hurts?
You can do gametracker
But since the game is on FSN, there is no webcast.
"When he went for that ball and dived over the table, I knew what was next to come. I felt sorry for what Texas Tech had to face after that."
-- J. T. Tiller - 3/12/09
Because it's Nationally televised, right?
FSN probably doesn’t want a free broadcast to be shown on-line.

Here's a link
to the TV Clearances issued by the Big 12. It shows which FSN’s the game is shown on and when, as well as the local stations in midwest.
I'm getting the Royals-Cardinals game :(
I love the cardinals, but I want to watch Mizzou play for their fourth big 12 championship this year
Also, you can listen at KTGR.com

Bottom of the 7th
Florida leading Cal 2-1 with Cal coming to bat. I’m guessing the softball game starts after this one is over?

OK, I realize the quality of this is horrible
but, I did it in about a 1/2 inning with MS Paint, because I realized we needed something for Folgia…

A season .185 hitter? Why did Jamison choose him for DH?
Does Missouri not have much in the way of Lefties on the bench?

McLagan's 1st at bat was only about 3 weeks ago
He joined MU in January. Finished his senior year at Christian Fellowship HS in CoMo in December. So they’ve been working with him, getting him up to speed against college pitching. And by the 1st of May he was doing better in practice than the other DH choices.
Excellent, thank you!

So, OBP of 1.000, 3 SBs* and a RS in 2 1/3 innnigs of play
- assuming you count moving to 2nd on an error a steal.. I know it doesn’t officially count as one, but I want to, ok?!

He’s Superman, hits in all 9 slots of the lineup. The original Johnny Wholebat
+1
When he decides to settle for a non-HR, does he run the bases AND hit, or do they do phantom runners?

I heard the most disturbing thing on the royals game
“Come on, Billy! Come on, Billy! Come on, Billy! Good job, Billy.”
That’s what she said!

I think they just called ball 4 deep
That’s the only logical explanation.
Really hope they don’t drop this game, they could’ve avoided the deficit without the silly errors and awful mental mistakes.

NICE
sweet diving catch in leftcenter by Poet, laying out on the warning track almost going face first into the wall
90% of Langenfeld's pitches are the exact same pitch in the same spot
I don’t understand how we haven’t figured it out. If you’re right handed, turn on the screwball and try to keep it fair. If you’re left handed, slap/drive it the opposite way. Leave it if it’s too outside.

We need to tag Langenfeld
I don’t think I can take another game of flailing at the same pitch 75 times.
This game is on ESPN2 for anyone looking for it.

Megan Langenfeld
doubles high off the left field wall, nearly a catch by Poet, nearly a homer by Langenfeld
Hope everyone in the field saw how to handle the outside pitch right there
If they do what Langenfeld just did, she won’t make it out of the 2nd.

Langenfeld threw 117 pitches earlier today
and 100 last night, not a softball expert but DAMN that’s a lot of pitches

UCLA’s coach talking to the umpire, not sure what she’s complaining about, Ball 4 was easily up and in.
by Transmogrified Tiger on May 24, 2009 6:07 PM CDT reply actions
So, if they pull Langenfeld, can they then make her the DH/DP
and keep her batting (she’s a .371 hitter)? I know there’s a 1 re-sub rule, so they could put her BACK in later.
She’s also listed as a 1B, but their #4 hitter is their current 1B. I guess they could really shuffle.
I would assume the rule is the same as the DH rule, but I grew up a NL fan, so I’m not up on all the DH rules. Can you take a player out of the field and make them the DH?

Langenfeld to 1B, DiSalvatore from 1st to RF, Baker is the new pitcher.
