So, here we go. The 2009 College World Series brakets have been released. Here's the rundown:

Not necessarily...
I believe Michigan got the shaft last year, and had to play in Arizona for the Super.
They do it based on facilities/hotels I think.
U of San Diego got shafted a couple years ago too.
Michigan actually hosted a regional as a two seed last year in which Arizona was the 1 seed
Arizona was the one that got the shaft.
