Hey ZouDave
Just curious…is there a reason the videos are choppy with Flash? I have a pretty fast internet connection but the video seems like it buffers alot. This isn’t a complaint about the videos…you do a fantastic job with the videos.
I think it has something to do with the SBN servers...

Still Perry best game? Maybe, but Saunders had a great one that day too!
Interesting seeing much different plays just two short seasons ago, I wonder if this last season mizzou got to predicable. (just overall, not that we kept doing the same slow developing handoffs. )
Like the double reverse in that game and the bomb throw to Coffman, hadn’t seen that in two years, well except maybe that was suppose to be the play that got blew the eff up against Texas in the first series this last year.
Anywho, just an observation about these videos from 06, Daniel ran a lot more, and it seemed a little less predictable…..

@5:22 BOOM headshot.
i love that play. it’s one of my all-time favorite tony temple plays. Behind only the 2008 Cotton Bowl and ’08 aTm after his grandma died.
"Yeah this is my signature, big deal wanna fight about it?"
I miss Temple a lot
too bad he couldn’t get in the NFL.

D Wash will become a better RB than 'high school legend' Tony Temple
I consider myself a Tony Temple fan, he could sure dazzle…..when he wasn’t get caught behind the lines.
My only knock ever on him was that, it was all or nothing. Or in other words, all or minus yardage. At times when the initial hole was not there he would dance too much, not make a decision and then force the evolution of the play….
I am beginning to appreciate the patient, yet decision making skills that DWash has. And I am of the people that think we will have an even better runner than TT, perhaps this coming year.

bingo
I honestly think I’d take #24 over #22. D-Wash is more consistent (when healthy, anyway), fumbles infinitely less, and is so deceptively fast and strong.

Not knocking D-Wash at all
I just had a soft spot for Temple. It’s kind of like my unconditional manlove of Courtney Lee; can’t really explain it, but it’s there. I also think Washington is the better man, I just liked Temple more, no stats or consistency involved.

Oh sure, there will always be a spot for Cotton Bowl rushing record Tony Temple...
…but it won’t be in the center of my heart, more sagitial than that, perhaps lower in the left ventricle…but still in my heart.
In coaches speak, In my heart of hearts, in know that he isn’t in my heart of hearts but close, pretty close.

Yeah, I just started following Mizzou football more during his junior season
that’s when I really got into it. It’s all about when, where, and who was there when when and where was there (BOOM) I bet if I got hooked on the footbal team in 09 I’d be a more D-Wash guy. And the heart comment is gold, Jerry, gold!

I fully expect D-Wash to leave Mizzou with the most rushing yards...

Even better in that he did that to a Missouri boy ...
… who chose to play at kansas. Inexcusable.
