The Royals drafting a Mizzou Tiger in the first round is truly combining two of my favorite things in life. It feels almost like I'm drinking a Guinness while munching on Arthur Bryant's burnt ends while listening to Led Zepplin while watching Padme Lakshmi inhale a Western bacon cheeseburger.
The Upon Further Review blog at the KC Star made me giggle.

I could literally care less one way or the other about the Men in Blue...
on the other side of the state, but this was hilarious. Good post, but I’m still hoping the Cardinals pick up a Mizzou arm sometime in the near future.
If they did did do this I would officially withdraw my one team for one sport rule and cheer for the team as much as the Cardinals. This is 100% contingent on trading the Jayhawk, changing the name and color scheme, and receiving Ian Kinsler though.
