I saw in Sunday’s paper that had a sprained ankle, but that leads to liver failure?
I'm the guy that keeps Mr. Death in his pocket.
What I heard was that he was "red-flagged" at a pre-draft workout.
The assumption was that it was the ankle, but it could be the liver.
Still no confirmation on ANYthing about the liver.

well waletnik doesnt seem overly worried but this is still potentially very bad news

I just spoke with a couple of "people in the know"
and they said that the liver problem is more of a long-term problem, and that JYD is fit as a fiddle for the NBA into the forseeable future.
He just finished a workout out in Sacramento, and is on his way to New Orleans this afternoon.
Much ado over nothing? maybe.

Channing Frye's minutes should be available...
…but there’s little room for growth with the Blazers, especially if they keep Travis Outlaw. There’s already a bit of a logjam with Lamarcus Aldridge at the 4 and Outlaw splitting time between the 3 and 4…said logjam is why Frye hasn’t been able to find any minutes there. Plus, they’re stowing away some 6’10 British kid (Joel Freeland) and waiting for the right moment to bring him over. LOVE the Blazers, and would love to have Leo there, but it wouldn’t be a good long-term move for him…the Magic, on the other hand, might be a decent fit…
