Around SBN: Jeff Sullivan's MLB Trade Deadline Primer

With Custom Conferences, if you and your friends want to recreate the old Big 8 you can move schools around to get those old Big 8 schools together in the same conference and see how things would play out with today's teams.

Ben Haumiller, NCAA 10 designer for EA Sports (via). Love this feature. Mizzou fans can re-create the Big 8 and avoid any future title games...Texas fans can move their team to the ACC...everybody wins...

It isn't perfect...

but it is progress.

The way it works is that you’d have to move our 8 teams to a conference that currently only has 8 teams (like the MWC). All of the conference logos in your stadium would still say Big XII, and I believe the game would still refer to the conference as the MWC.

But…it would at least still be just the Big 8. It will definitely be interesting.

Add to this the INCREDIBLY DEEP TeamBuilder App to create your own teams (including using it to re-create teams of the past) and you’ve got a pretty nice set of features. I’m considering re-creating the 1998 Mizzou Team along with the 2003 Mizzou Team and the 2007 Mizzou Team just to be able to pit them all against each other.

I'm pretty sure the big east has eight teams

that would work the best since it’s a bcs conference.

Good God.

I’ve had no free time at all in the last seven weeks, and the few moments I’ve had have all been lost to TeamBuilder.

It’s just so damn fantastic.

FINALLY!

Didn’t Madden have the ability to rearrange divisions like 10 years ago? I’ve been waiting for that forever.

I wish I could buy a 360

I just need money. But I got a job so I’m saving up for one and NCAA football 10.

And Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

I, along with about half of the country and a third of the world’s population, will have no life after that comes out.

Eh, my sig needs a little time off

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
